The 2027 Planner

A dated year built around why planners get abandoned, rather than around how they photograph.

Almost every tracker dies between day eight and day twelve. Not gradually — there is a clean edge in the grid where the marks stop, and it lands in roughly the same place for almost everybody.

That consistency is the point. Something failing for personal reasons would fail at random times. A failure this reliable is caused by the tool.

What is different about it

No cell can look empty. Habit marks are additive rings — ring the days that happened. There is no blank box to accuse you, so a gap stays a gap instead of becoming a verdict.

The week is recorded, not planned. Each week asks what happened and whether it was worth repeating. Written on Sunday about the week just gone, it takes four minutes and it cannot fall behind.

Every page has to change a decision. Pages that only restate what you already knew were left out, which is why there are fewer kinds of page here than in a planner sold on how many it has.

What is in it

Format

A single PDF, 68 pages, 240 × 180mm landscape. That is 4:3, so it fills an iPad with the sidebar closed rather than sitting in a strip with grey either side — the reasoning is here.

Works in GoodNotes, Notability, Noteshelf or any PDF reader. Prints onto A4 with a margin.

What it is not

No stickers. No colour-coded life system. Nothing to install. It does not track your mood, your water or your gratitude, because none of those changed a decision when we tested them against the page.

It is dated, so it expires. If you would rather have something that does not, the undated inserts do the same job in whatever notebook you already own — or take both together for $19 rather than $26 apart.
