How This Site Makes Money

Indigo & Paper sells its own digital products and nothing else. What that means, and what it used to be.

The short version

Indigo & Paper makes and sells its own digital products. That is the only way this site earns anything.

There are no affiliate links on this site. Nothing here is a paid placement, nothing is sponsored, and no merchant pays for a mention. When an article recommends something we sell, it links to our own product page and our own checkout, and the article says what the thing costs.

What we sell

Digital files, all made here and sold in the shop. In September 2026 every product was taken off sale to be reworked, and each one went back on sale only after its files had been reviewed and approved. The shop reopened on 12 September 2026. Checkout is handled by Polar, who are the merchant of record and who therefore handle payment and any sales tax or VAT due. Polar is the seller of record and authorised reseller for the transaction, not an affiliate partner who pays us for traffic. Indigo & Paper creates the files and provides product support; our terms explain the checkout and digital delivery.

A correction. After the shop reopened, this page kept saying nothing was on sale. It now describes the shop as it is.

There are also three free resources (a habit tracker, a household handover starter and a letter-writing starter), which cost nothing and are not trials of anything.

What changed, and when

Until September 2026 this site carried affiliate links, principally to Creative Fabrica, and earned a commission when a reader followed one and subscribed or bought. That arrangement is over. The links are gone, the product recommendations that depended on them are gone, and the passages that existed to serve them have been rewritten to stand on their own.

This section stays here because a site that quietly deletes its old commercial relationships is harder to trust than one that says what they were. If you read an article here before September 2026 and followed a link to a merchant, that link earned this site a commission. Now there is nothing of the kind to disclose, which is why this page is no longer called a disclosure.

Some old /go/ addresses still exist and now redirect to the shop on this site. They no longer reach any merchant.

The rules this site holds itself to

These predate the change and are unaffected by it.

• No invented details. No prices, product names, font names, or catalogue counts appear here unless checked. Where a claim could not be verified, the article stays general instead of filling the gap with something plausible.
• No fabricated experience. If a technique has not been tested here, it is described as a rule of thumb rather than presented as tested.
• No stock recommendations dressed as personal ones.
• Articles that recommend against buying stay in. The desk article argues that almost every accessory changes nothing; the journaling articles name four popular spread types as not worth the page. Selling our own products did not change that, and it is the reason the recommendations are worth anything.
• Where a free option exists, it is named as free and linked as free.

Every commercial link on this site points at a /buy/ address on this domain, which leads to our own checkout. Anything else is an ordinary link.
