Journal Inserts

Four A5 inserts built around why trackers get abandoned, not around how they look. Undated, so they do not expire.

Habit trackers do not fail because of discipline. They fail around day nine, and they fail by design.

A standard tracker is a grid built for a perfect month. Miss one day and the page shows a hole. Miss two and it stops being a record of what you did and starts being evidence of what you did not — so you stop opening it. Every tracker template on sale is a nicer-looking version of that same grid.

These four remove the cause instead of restyling it.

What is in it

01 — The tracker that cannot look failed. Thirty-one rings. Fill the ones you did. There are no empty cells, because a mark is something you add rather than a box you leave unticked.

02 — The week that already happened. Filled in on Sunday about the week behind you, not on Monday about the week ahead. Planning is a wish. Recording is data, and it takes four minutes.

03 — Five spreads that earn their page. The other reason journals stop being opened is not knowing what to put on the page. Five that need no ruler, no stencil and no second colour.

04 — A dot grid, ready to use. 6.2mm, close enough to standard that it sits beside a Leuchtturm or Rhodia page without looking wrong.

Format

Two A4 sheets, printed two-up, cut lines marked. Finished size A5 — the size that fits notebooks people already own, rather than one that requires buying a new one.

What it is not

Not dated, so it does not expire. Not decorative, so it does not compete with your handwriting. No stickers, no colour, no fonts to install.

If you want the whole of 2027 rather than a reusable sheet, that is the 2027 Planner — or take both for $19 rather than $26 apart.

The reasoning behind it

Why habit trackers stop getting filled in is insert 01's argument, and five bullet journal spreads that earn their page is insert 03's.
